The world is too harsh a place for people like Maathan. Or in that sense someone like Jazz (Shivani Raghuvanishi) from Made in Heaven (2019). They are dreamers, they want to fly high, and yet they can't. The topsy-turvy, cruel world won't let them.
You can absolutely sense Maathan's joy when he sees the hotel room - even if it's for a day, he wants to chill and relax and etch this forever in his memories and share it with his Appu or Apps. Maybe that's why he opens the phone and goes to her Instagram account to make sure she is there during this fleeting moment with her. And even if he was clingy, he did many things wrong, he wasn't toxic. Now you can't expect everyone to be like Ram from 🎬96 (2019).
To all the Maathans in the world, yes you're flawed but you make the world a better place even if you all are not acknowledged.❣️
