Dil Bechara ❣️ - Last Movie of Sushant Singh Rajput Broke all the records.

"Perhaps, the difference between what is miserable, and that, which is spectacular, lies in the leap of faith"-  Sushant Singh Rajput

The movie begins with these lines mentioned above with Sushant musing a soothing turn with his guitar. Very rarely do words weave the same meaning for the emotions that are inevitably lined up to come as the 100 minute film unfolds.

Dil Bechara is a very poignant, coming of age roller-coaster of a film shot with moving songs(AR Rahman being the composer). Based in Jamsedhpur, several iconic spots do feature in the film- from the Sacred Heart Convent School to Jubilee Park, Hudco dam in Telco to the Kadma-Sonari Link Road and many more. The film is almost a honest and faithful "desi" take on the The Fault in our Stars, novel by John Green(2014).

Sushant Singh Rajput ❤️(Immanuel Rajkumar Junior aka 'Manny') as enigmatic as he his, puts on a show- as usual. The bubbly Jamsedhpur lad is ever so eager to seize every moment with his natural boyish charm and the vulnerability during the inevitable health crises. JP(Sahil Vaid) is equally comical and a perfect foil to our hero. Sanjana Sanghvi(Lizzie Basu), making her debut, is equally impressive as the teenager clinging on to the fragility of thyroid cancer and yet she is willing to be swept away by Manny’s spontaneity. The chemistry they share does 'light up screens like a christmas tree'.  Both her parents(Swastika Mukherjee and Saswata Chatterjee), brings out the Bengali flavour to the film in a very nuanced way. There's a cameo of Saif Ali Khan which also gives a moral lesson on life in general.

Sushant's swansong film is very much like the reality itself, a career which had promised much more. Despite that, he had carved a niche for himself with his diverse choices and legendary acts in his short yet fruitful career.
Dil Bechara Broke all the previous record after Releasing on ott platform. Sushant fan create history by making his last movie most seen movie ever.

You are bound to laugh and smile and cry every time he battles through life and death on screen. Outside the fiction, the present too is eerily similar with a void and emptiness that can only be filled with his memories.  (P.S. Do keep tissues in handy).
